First and foremost, Thank You to all those men and women who have sacrificed so much to keep us safe, including those families who go without a parent for the time they serve and especially those families who have lost a loved one to the greater cause.
Memorial Day was so great. Rebecca always asks if we are going to have to go to work the next day and when she found out that we didn't have to go to work and were going to spend the day as a family she was jumping for joy. We were supposed to go to the breakfast that Woods Cross holds every year, but the day was so rainy we decided to go to Denny's instead. Rebecca choose an Alien face pancake and ate most of it. Then it was off to Indian Jones (the new one whichever that one is called). You may all be wondering, hey, isn't that movie a little advanced for CC? Well don't worry, she didn't see much. Between the 3 bathroom breaks and going between the two groups there was very little time for watching the movie.
After the movie we went home to get ready for a BBQ at Grandma Green's. Rebecca says it was so fun to be there and to play with her aunts. When we went shopping about a week before this, Rebecca got a book that was so fun but she had to put away until a certain something happened. Thank you Sara for making it possible for CC to officially get her book. If you haven't heard, you should talk to Sara. It was a great holiday!
