Fun Weekend...

This weekend has been so fun. Rebecca was able to sleep over at Grandma Kathy's on Friday. Michelle was going to slip out at anytime because there was plans for the next day that involved Michelle being in Layton, but Rebecca knew something was up and didn't make it very easy. Michelle woke up at 4:30 am and was going to leave when she saw Grandma Kathy looking out the door. Michelle went to look also and saw a large truck with a man looking for something in the back with a flashlight. As we were discussing what he could be doing we heard a little voice say "what ya looking at?" Imagine our shock at her being so awake and alert. We asked her to go back to sleep because it was the middle of the night and she said, "I'm not in the mood for this Mom". After 2 hours she finally went to sleep so I could go home. Saturday morning CC went with Grandma Kathy to a shower for a neighbor girl who was getting married and then was off to the train station. With Uncle Steve, Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Elmer CC rode the train to the Layton station where she met her parents and they all went to breakfast at Doug and Emmy's. After we sat down, we saw a sign on the wall that said "Elmer's Corner". How fitting. After breakfast CC and Uncle Steve rode the train back to Woods Cross and met her parents at Grandma Kathy's. From there Rebecca got to go to her Uncle Dave's to see Cody, Trevor and of course the puppies. Dave and Kristi bread their terier (I am sure that is spelled wrong) and they have one or two left from the last batch. Rebecca loves to see the puppies. To bad about the pictures again. Oh well, I will try really hard to figure it out soon and then you can see all the cute things Rebecca does instead of just reading about them.

This is Rebecca and Grandpa on the train on their way to breakfast at Doug & Emmy's. Rebecca loves the train, it makes her feel so grown up to be able to ride it.

One of Rebecca's favorite things in this world is to talk on the phone. Any chance she gets she will call one of the several phone numbers that she knows, please note that this is fare warning for all of you with cells phones, she knows how to use them and if not told not to, she will. Anyway, While riding back on the train with Uncle Steve, CC asked if they could call Josh, Steve's friend who lives in Germany. Steve said ok and CC had a nice little conversation with someone half way around the world. I wonder if she really knows what that means, but she does know he is in Germany and that it is far away. Thanks for talking to her Josh!
